So I have to report that Saturday I completed a 15 mile run! I was totally nervous the night before and dreading it, and about 1 block into it I was ready to stop. But step by step I kept forging ahead and ended up having an awesome experience. I ran downtown and got some hill work, to run through a mountain, to be in the city, and to run on a shaded tree lined trail with a ton of other people. The esprit de corps of being with other people really buoyed me up and gave me hope that I can do this marathon thing. This weekend is the 20 miler and then it's down hill from there.

You are awesome! That is all I have to say.
I didn't know you were going to do a marathon. Good for you. Good luck on the weekend run.
Keep going! You're a great runner and you'll reach your goal. I'm proud of you dear Jord!
woohoo! i can't wait!
You can do it! I have only run a half marathon and with all the people running at the same time, you will just start chatting with someone running your pace and miles will go by. Strike up conversation you will be so happy you did!
Way to go! I'm excited when I finish a mile without stopping.
Nice Jord! I wish I had the motivation for a marathon... ehh maybe someday. Good luck on your 20 miles.
I'm very proud of you, Jord, and I will be happy to come through on my end of the bargain - the prize to paid for finishing. Way to go!!
