Dead internet

Our internet died on Monday and my life went on hold. I can now say that I am an internet addict- to find out information, to schedule our life, to manage our finances, to prepare for lessons, to connect with people, etc. I depend on the internet to find and manage all this information and more.

Strange how 15 years ago I only had a dial up connection to the internet that was used occasionally to check something called email. How times have changed and continue to change where technology is concerned.

Sometimes it makes me sick how often I sit at the computer. Techniquelly, I am not doing anything destructive, it's all for a greater cause...but moderation would probably be wise in this area, but I have no idea how I would even go about that. I've asked Ryan to give me a code to get on-line, and only allow me so much time a day. I have yet to follow through with that though. :/

No internet! Oh no! It's amazing how dependent we are on things that we didn't use to have. It makes me think of that guy talking about how everything's amazing and nobody's happy. Have you seen it? It makes me laugh so hard. Here's a link:

I hope everything's back to normal! I hate it when my usual routine gets thrown off!

Interesting how much people get stuck on the internet. I guess it's better than sitting around watching soap operas.

We can't function without it. TV - yes. Internet - no. Funny how that works.
