My little loves

This girl is sweetly serious. She is the mother hen around our house keeping an eye on everyone and everything. She is learning to read. She loves to color/paint/create and requested that I call her "artist" for a whole day. She loves people and has a good sense for their feelings, but doesn't always come out of her shell. She loves physical activity and has a natural agility. She enjoys directing the activities of her younger sisters. She loves to go golfing/play tennis/do sports with her Dad. She loves to have alone time to talk with me. She loves to hear stories from the Friend and puts those lessons into practice. She is so excited to start kindergarten in the fall. She is my little love.

My little loves

This girl is full of 18-month-old sweetness. She is learning so many things and loves to showcase her new skills. She talks, she runs, she jumps, she sings, she dances, she cuddles, and she kisses. She is the baby of our family and she relishes it. As the pediatrician said, she "rules the roost" and keeps her sisters busy attending to her needs. She loves to read books in my lap. She loves to have her Daddy sing her guitar songs at night. She is independent and loves to keep up with her big sisters. She consistently refers to herself in the 3rd person. She loves to run errands, go on stroller rides, ride her Dora bike, swing, and swim. She wants in on all the action around here. She is my little love.

My little loves

This little girl is full of spunk. She always has her own ideas about things and loves to express her opinions. She creates humorous situations and can crack a joke like no other. She can do anything she puts her mind to and she loves to be given responsibility. She loves her sisters very much. She snuggles me every morning. She loves to rough house with her Dad. She is very good with names and knows who people are. She gobbles up pickles, tomatoes, and salt & vinegar chips. She loves to pray and is the one who reminds us to pray for family members who are on missions [Grandma and Grandpa] or sick. She is my little love.

Salsa!

With our tax money, we agreed to spend some cash on food storage stuff. So I bought me this little beauty.          [a pressure canner]

Yesterday I put her to work making 18 quarts of salsa. Delicious! My previous batch of the stuff got a little "roasted" (burned), but over the winter Dave and Brody helped eat it all up so my empty jars needed a little refilling.

Needless to say, I was extra pendiente with this batch to make sure we didn't end up with more roasted stuff again.
