It has been a while since my last post. Sorry. We were on vacation having a WONDERFUL time with our families. It was great to be away, to celebrate the holidays with the people we love, and to have a break from childcare, cooking, and cleaning. Thanks to my Mom who cooked and cleaned us, made Christmas wonderful, and provided excellent accommodations, to both padres for unlimited babysitting for free, and J's parents for childcare and food and a fun New Year's celebration. With such a great start, 2009 is on a roll.

We LOVED having you all here. We made some great memories. I just put away the last of the toys today. I found one of Claire's green balls under a couch, one of Lauren's bracelets under a cushion in the couch and one of Ellie's sippy cups under her pack and play. But mostly, you got all your stuff and didn't leave anything of importance. Can't wait until our next encounter!
That was such a great vacation! It was so fun to get to hang out with you guys and we hope it's not too long before we see you again. It is so hard being back to real life! Hope you guys are adjusting back well! :)
I'm glad you got to see your families. It's hard to live far away. I've had to do it a few times and hate it. I miss my folks right now so bad, and they'll only be gone 4 months.
