Trunk-or-Treat

I had never experienced one of these prior to moving here, but I definitely love it. Walking around a parking lot to cars filled with candy to give out...it doesn't get much better than that!

It looks like Ellie is a little Lady Bug too! That's what Milly is as well. I have a great costume my neighbor gave us that is so warm. She just wears black pants and shirt under it. I think this year we'll have a beautiful Halloween, but some years it has been snowing. Nothing like forking out dough on a costume that your kids wear under their coat! I can't believe you didn't do a trunk -or-treat in Utah. I thought Utahans invented it.

It looks like the little lady bug and the beautiful pink princess are having a good time. The trunk or treat is a great idea and it looks like a fun activity.

The girls are so cute! I just saw all my nieces and nephews dressed up for the up coming holiday and I loved it. Fun Holiday for kids! I loved the story of the alram clock! Jake must take good care of his stuff.

What?! You've been missing out, girl! :) Christian had never heard of a trunk or treat before we moved here either. I think they started doing it in Calgary when Halloween was on a Sunday, so everyone would bring their cars to the church and trunk or treat there on the Saturday. And now you just do that at all ward Halloween parties. I thought it was standard practice :) They are a fabulous activity, glad you got to have one!

PS - such cute costumes!! Did you make them both?

Great pix, both of the kids (wonderful costumes, by the way!) and of the parents. I'm not used to trunk or treating, but it sounds like a good idea. Thanks for sharing.

I heard of trunk or treating for the first time in AZ too. It's a great idea for little toddlers. There is something magical about going door-to door though. The girls look cute.
