Taliesin West. I loved it! Frank Lloyd Wright (who was actually christened Frank Lincoln Wright and whose son is the creator of Lincoln logs) is an amazing architect and designer and this was his winter home. It currently houses the FLW foundation, an architectural school, and all of FLW's archives. Amazing. His sense of space, form, function, and accounting for the environment are seriously incredible and it was so cool to tour around his creation. It is something you have to experience, as pictures don't do it justice, and can't recreate the harmony and peace you feel walking around the space. It is a place where people can just be and I loved it! I highly recommend this tour to any one living in or visiting the Phoenix area. You won't be disappointed.

I totally agree that Claire has very interesting interests and it's fun to be around her because she knows so many things about so many things (as do YOU.) I'm glad you sucked it up and paid the admission fee to enjoy a beautiful setting and learning something new. We'll have to go there for a visit next time we come to town.
That sounds really interesting - how on earth did Claire find out about it? I also would gawk at the admission price, but sometimes it is just worth it to fork out the money :) Glad you guys had a great memorial day!
I'm glad you liked Taliesin even if I did have to force you to pay the money! You forgot to mention you even spent more in the bookstore on those cool coasters. We should definitely go see the original house in Wisconsin sometime. Also thanks for the props, I do like and am interested in different things and like the saying "jack of all trades, master of none." Maybe I should just focus on one thing so I can actually have some sort of hobby to talk about? Nah, probably not. Anyhow, thanks for letting me come visit; I had a great time (even if your cereal selection was subpar)!
Thanks, Jord, for your great post, and for the serious props to Claire. Both of you are great, in my eyes, and those of many others. I think you are both very interesting, in addition to being very good, and it is always great to talk with you and get your opinions on things. You both have very definite opinions, which I really appreciate.
