Pilates

J and I are on a new exercise kick. We need to get in shape, and since we're on a new savings plan and cannot afford the gym right now, we thought home workout would work for us. I've got two days down and I'm already feeling the burn. We have this DVD and high hopes of becoming toned in the "core" and flexible enough to actually touch our toes. I even bought an exercise floor mat so watch out core, here I come!

PS. Here are a few pictures of our recent trip, before the camera breakdown.

With the Elder before he departed to Mongolia.

With my sister and brother in law at Jenny's graduation.

E with my Grandpa Vern.

L with one of her good pals Zachary.

Our little family.

Way to go with working out! Brody gave me a pilates dvd for Christmas but it hasn't been opened yet, I really need to get on that.. it would help if Brod did it with me!

1) I love that you guys are on an exercise plan together. Maybe we shall have a family session of pilates while we're there ;)

2) I love your cute stylish hair! The bangs are really cute on you, Jord!

3) That is not Ellie! She is so grown up I can't believe it. I think it's a good thing we're coming to see you before she's a full grown kid! I can't believe she's so big.

4) I am loving Lauren's pigtails! She looks so cute in them. I can't wait to see you guys.

5) I am so sorry about your camera! That totally stinks. The pictures you did get are cute and it looks like Utah was wonderful. I will definitely be bringing our camera to document our weekend of fun :) And I will totally come to Costco with you to get you a new one because I think they totally would since yours is such a lemon. Honestly, that stinks!

The end. :)

So remember how I divulged my secret problem with infomercials... about 6 months ago Dustin and I got sucked in to an infomercial about a Fluidity bar. it is seriously awesome (although I wouldn't have you look at my body as some of its best work.) But you totally need to try it out. It is fun and dancer-like but it will kill you also!

you are too funny, pilates kicks butt!

L and E are just adorable.

Do you like how I have such short comments? Brain is fried today and I can't think of anything wordy to say, other than what came to mind. :}

Jord: good, interesting post. I eschew Pilates (sounds like Pontius Pilate), but I did run the route of the 4th of July 10K today since I'm training for the run on the 4th. We did some yard work, too, so it was a pretty good day.
Thanks for the pictures. You and J have a great family, and you are wonderful parents.

What? Father doesn't want to do Pilates? I am shocked.
