I finished unpaking today from a trip we completed last Sunday.
I read and loved Jane Eyre.
I made a resolution to have fewer resolutions.
I jumped on the trampoline with my girls for an hour today.
I took a nap on Thursday.
I enjoyed the Christmas holiday and our CA vacation immensely.
I laminated a new chore chart for my kids. With stickers. That I hope to keep up for more than 2 weeks.
I finished reading the Book of Mormon in over 2 months. Never read it that fast before. Loved it.
I waited at the car place for an alignment this morning. For 3 hours. 3 hours. With kids.
I have to run 6 miles tomorrow for the half-marathon training. I
I am now going to indulge myself in catching up on Parks & Rec and Psych. Hopefully the most recent episodes are still in my Hulu queue.

Good post, Jord. Thanks for taking time to rest and refresh, what little you can. It will do wonders for you. I wish we would do more of that.
I love this post. It is so my style. Ditto what your mom said and may I add: take a nap every day, no guilt!
I LOVE your list. 3 hours....with kids....shoot me!! Jumping on the tramp for a whole hour...seriously, mom of the year. I couldn't even jump that long when I was a kid myself.
I love that you jumped for an hour. I know who Santa really brought the tramp for ;) you're awesome. And 2 months finishing the Book of Mormon??? Seriously how do you do it all?!
i miss you immensely!
can't wait to hear more about your trip!
Jane Eyre is the best. We must discuss. Thanks for the peek into your life.
An hour on the tramp?! I'm impressed. I don't know if I could last that long without peeing my pants!
Jane Eyre is wonderful. They made a movie of it that came out last year that is really good. We went for a girl's night last year and we all loved it, and it seemed like it followed the book pretty closely, but it's been a long time since I've read it. It's a great one!
3 hours. With kids. I feel overwhelmed just thinking about it!
2012 is off to a great start, sister!
PS - I saw a thing on pinterest that said "When people say 10 years ago I still think of 1990". Guilty! Writing 2010 isn't too bad! ;)
