Playing doctor

My kids + body orifices = trouble

Today Ells stuck a sticker up her nose. Luckily she came to me right away. With tweezers and a head lamp I got the darn thing out. This isn't the first time a girl has stuck something in a body crevice, and I suspect it won't be the last.

Hmm my little Ellie blew her nose for me the other day and wouldn't you know a pink bead came out with lots of boogies! Nice. She said it was her jewel. double nice. At least she came to you right after it happened!

Evan stuck a peanut up his nose today yesterday too. Wow. Luckily it came out easy and was only half a peanut.

ha ha that's awesome! The joys of childhood. And CRAZY that Lauren starts Kindergarten!! I can't believe it.

The oreo pops are super easy... just a package of oreos (minus 7, you can eat those) crushed to a fine powder, an 8 oz. thing of cream cheese softened. Then you mix together, form into balls, freeze overnight, stick a skewer in and dip into melted chocolate!! Super easy and super yummy!!

I once stuck a rock up my nose because I liked the smell of dirt. Sadly, I was older than your cutie...

I am secretly glad Sydney has one more year of preschool before Kindergarten. Savannah is only going to get a year of it before she goes and that is so fast!

And I have a fear of things getting stuck places. Savannah loves putting small objects in her mouth STILL. I thought they outgrew that but I guess not. It is funny after the fact but only when you know they aren't hurt. :)

Anna was so bad about sticking things in her nose and her ears, luckily my other kids haven't really done that... yet. Good job Ellie for telling you right away. It is kind of funny ;)

That is hilarious...those girls are going to keep you hopping for sure! Glad you could get it out without a trip to the doctor!

I'm glad it was only a sticker, and that it didn't require a trip to the doctor or the emergency room. I don't recall any of you kids doing that, but maybe my memory is just faulty. Interesting story, Jord.
