Deep Freeze

For Christmas my parents got us a stand alone freezer.

It has been sitting in my storage room for a month. It is time to fill it up....but with what?

Suggestions appreciated.

Thanks!

Frozen jam of course! Maybe some extra food as sales come along, with lots of ice cream, frozen Rhodes rolls and anything else that is frozen that comes on special at the grocery story. Little by little you'll fill it up!

I just made a batch of blackberry freezer jam that is SO good. I wish I had a deep freeze to store some of it! :) I would just add to it little by little with whatever is on sale, or your favorite things from Costco.

Deep freezes and steam cleaners... we really are getting old! Especially since we LOVE them! :)

We were just talking about this at YW's tonight. I'm thinking we need one. I would buy organic meat (if you eat it) and like a huge amount. I've found a local farm here where you can purchase a big amount at a lower cost. Ohhh Martha says cranberry stuff & some other fruits will freeze. Who knew?

Oh my goodness, Claire's was hilarious. Can't have enough popcicles, cheap too. But what we are always out of is butter, cheese, chicken, frozen water bottles, and if you're Aunt Lee, you can never have enough frozen cookies. Did you know you can freeze milk too?
