Third

Some observations about the third child:

Cons:
She has far fewer pictures taken of her
She seems to cry louder (I think to gain our attention)
She has other little faces, lips, and hands in her face multiple times a day interrupting her peace
She must learn how to sleep through noise, and a lot of it
Her baby book arrived last week but is still awaiting its first entry
She wears a lot of hand me downs
She might get a Christmas present, but might not.

Pros:
She has a mother who knows a lot better how to attend to her needs
She has little sisters who watch her every move
She has a dad who is a pro at getting her to sleep
She takes a bottle and a pacifier
She has multiple stimuli throughout the day thanks to her siblings
She gets care that has been tried and tested on other children
She has all the more family members to shower her with love

She is a dear and I am so grateful for her.

It is interesting how our time and abilities change w/ each new child. Ada is a sweet, darling baby, as are her big sisters. You're doing a marvelous job with three little ones. I'm glad you're feeling better.

If it makes you feel better, Jada's baby book is in desperate need of attention and I don't think she's getting Christmas gifts from us:):)

Oh my goodness she is a doll! I just love her. It's crazy to me how alike your 3 girls look, but how different they are at the same time.

She is a cutie Jord. I can't wait to meet her. I think the third child is a good place to be :)

So true! Oh my goodness, little Ada is so cute! And she has grown so much. She is probably going to be huge by the time we see her. She is just darling. I love her :)

Wonderful observations, Jord. All the kids are loved the same, and each one's experience is different. Thanks for being such a great mom and thanks to Jake for being such a great dad. We love you all.
