Ridiculous

The other day I took the girls out for a walk and had on: a t-shirt, a long sleeve shirt, a sweatshirt, a down vest, gloves, a hat, pants, two pairs of socks and my running shoes.

The weather: overcast and 61 degrees.

Today I walked to the bus stop to go to school, I had a hat, scarf, gloves, a t-shirt, a sweater and ski parka. It was -6 degrees fahrenheit. 61 sounds good to me.

You sound like my mother. Today I went to the store in some gym pants and a tee shirt. It was 16 degrees.

You guys really are acclimatized. Jake told me that it wasn't going to be shorts weather when we went for Thanksgiving since it had been in the 70's. Enjoy the cold Utah weather next week!

I too freeze in Az. when I arrive from the frigid north pole. Have a wonderful time with your family!

I saw you and May I say that you looked hot! (in the aesthetic sense as well as the opposite of cold :)

What are you going to do in Utah?! We have been absolutely freezing today, it's 44 degrees and we all have on our winter coats and gloves. It's amazing how fast you acclimatize. We better get you some thermal underwear for next week! ;)

Don' be a phembot, Jord. You'll have to toughen up a bit, especially when you travel to the cold climate here for the Christmas holiday.
It is nice that your weather is warm now, but it'll be hotter than the devil's rump soon enough.

That is the temperature in my bedroom! We'll have to get some extra blankets for you...

The first time I visited the Skeens in Mesa when Mike and I were first married, it was in February and 50 something degrees in the morning. All the girls were freezing wearing sweatshirts to go to school. Mike and I thought we were on a tropical beach in our shorts and T-shirts. It's funny how quickly you adjust to the climate you're living in!
