First, cousin Clara stayed with us for a week.

Then we had dinner with my cousin Kylee and aunt Lee.
Next, we went to a tailgate party with Dave and Courtney for the college national championship game in Glendale.
Then Claire and cousin Lizzie came for 5 days.
Finally, we took our family to the San Francisco bay area to visit J's brother Christian, his wife Sarah, and their adorable kids.

It was a crazy, full, busy, and fantastic month!

i do like the header! nice work.
Good new masthead for your blog, Jord. Thanks for sharing the pictures. They are great. You did have a month chock full of family. How nice.
I love months full of family time. I love that your girls have lots of little cousins and friends their ages. What a treat!
Usually Januarys are boring, so good for you guys for making it a fun one! I'm glad I got to see you and the girls as part of your fun month!
Wow that's a lot of stuff! I think I knew about each one, but it sounds like a lot more when you add it all up like that. Fun times!
What a busy month!! I am SO glad that you guys made the trek out here. We loved it so much and can't wait for the next trip! :) Thanks for coming!!!
Jord it has been FOREVER since I have commented on your blog so here we go:
1. What a busy January you had. Ours totally sucked, but it looks like yours totally rocked.... so awesome! I love that you had a fun trip to San Francisco. It looks beautiful (unlike when we were there the middle of August)! Glad Clairess could come visit. Going to the College National Championship tail-gate looked fabulous!
2. 529 plan... Thank you! We recently set up a savings fund for both our children, but I've been in need of some advice on college savings.
3. Pictures, delete the ones you would most likely never print or scrapbook (if it was still those days). That's how I judge which ones to keep.
4. Marathon, wow! I am impressed! I have decided to do a half on my 31st b-day. I have no desire to do a full. For one, too much training and with work, I already leave my kids enough to try and take on something else. Two because I know I would get burnt out and gain a ton of weight after. So a half sounds manageable to me. You on the other hand are a professional runner! Good luck with training!
5. LOVED your i-Movie! Well done! You'll have to make more in all your spare time. ;) I totally want a iMac (don't tell Mark). I have one at work so in essence I do have one, but one at home, that would be luxury. Thankfully I do have my free dell. Can't complain.
So much fun! Love your new blog header. It is soo cute!
