His specialties up to now have been cookies and pancakes, but yesterday he embarked on a pie making endeavor. And we were the beneficiaries. Look at the wonder of this peach pie.
Made from scratch. With the lattice crust. With the perfect pie making tools given to us by his mom, the pie maker extraordinaire. So beautiful! So delicious! I am so lucky!

He got his pie-making skills from his mom! That looks yummy!
You too are showing off your domestic skillz. Good job. The pie looks delicious. Can I have some? Very impressive!
I can't make a pie!! SO impressed!
He can bring home the bacon . . . fry it up in the pan . . . and never let you forget he's a man! Way to go Jake, the jack of all trades. I don't think even Leonardo da Vinci had anything on you. Kudos to you.
Very impressed! I wish I coule have a piece!
AND he cleans bathrooms. End of story.
I'm so impressed--what a beautiful pie. That's so great that he did a lattice top on his first pie! Amazing.
That pie looks PERFECT! Why am I not surprised, though :) I'm sure every detail was done with exactness :) And I bet it tasted as good as it looks, we have had those famous pancakes that are delicious! I have never made a lattice crust ever, and I doubt I ever will... I am super impressed!
I'm showing this post to Adam! Maybe that will give him the urge to follow in Jake's footsteps...or maybe I can keep dreaming.
Yes, he's a keeper! Very impressive Jake. Were the peaches fresh?
Yes, Leemo, the peaches were fresh and brought down from an orchard in Utah. Maybe that's what made the pie so dang good.
