That is often how God works with me- things get hard and I feel stretched and there are moments (hours or days or weeks even) where I just have to hang on and keep believing, but then if I can just hold out, if I can just keep going, God's help always comes.
Every. Single. Time.
And it came in such a big way this weekend.
I don't remember a conference where I have been so spiritually filled and fed and encouraged and am beyond grateful for a prophet to guide us in these latter days.
I know that President Russel M. Nelson is God's mouthpiece on earth today and guides and directs His work of salvation through continuing revelation.
The talks were so incredibly Christ-centered and I left with such a personal reassurance of the Savior's ability to help, encourage, heal, carry and succor me.
And I know that His help is available to everyone.
To me and to you.
Jesus Christ is real and can and will and wants to help you in your life. He is accessible. Through prayer, through the scriptures, through learning about Him, through the thoughts and feelings of the Holy Ghost.
I especially appreciated Elder Dale G. Renlund's words about the Savior and know that they are true.
He stated, "As you act on those words [Hear Him] and listen to Him, remember, joyfully and reverently, that the Savior loves to restore what you cannot restore; He loves to heal wounds you cannot heal; He loves to fix what has been irreparably broken; He compensates for any unfairness inflicted on you; and He loves to permanently mend even shattered hearts."
I love Jesus with all of my heart and am forever grateful for the life and the hope that He offers to the world.
