My beautiful and talented friend Lorien has created a community art project found HERE. Every week she posts an original piece of art and you get the chance to name it! She wants to open it up to as many people as possible so go over and subscribe today.
I actually won the title in last weeks submission and am so excited to get a print of this picture.
Here's what she says about it:
What it is: Each Monday a new piece of artwork will be posted by Lorflor. Followers will submit one title for the artwork in the comments box. Submissions are due Wednesday by midnight. On Friday I will select a title from all entries submitted. If your entry is selected you will receive a free print of the artwork! Upon winning, please email your name and address to thelorflorproject@gmail.com.
Where it’s going: The project will run until the end of May 2012, and then we will have an art show in a gallery, probably in July! The art show will feature the original artwork, as well as those who named the pieces, thus creating a community art experience. In order to feature those who named the pieces, I will need a short two to three paragraph biography that you would like on the wall next to your painting.

Way to go Jord and Lorien. She is a talented artist and you did a great job naming her latest piece.
Interesting. It was nice to hear about what she is doing. That sounds like a very nice project.
