Back tracking

So the afternoon before we left on our trip, the girls and I, along with my sister and her toddler "skippy" (alias to protect the innocent child) headed to the local beauty school for some haircuts.

It was the deal of the week.

For $5 a cut, they got all 4 girls in at the same time, gave them lollipops, turned them around so they were facing each other, showered them with attention and praises and they left with actually decent kid cuts.

Ada got her first haircut.

Lauren got the most minimal trim possible to keep her hair "long and shiny."

And Ellie ordered up a chop job which turned out to be an adorable bob hair cut.

We're all pleased with the outcome, and especially after having my hair cutting skills, or lack thereof, the beauty school is a definitely improvement.

That is such a good idea! I don't even know if they have a beauty college around here... but they must, right? Also, I can't believe that you went to do that right before you guys left! You must have been crazy organized :)
