The story is this: Andy, the 22 year old, said he was not going to participate in the plunge until Lauren, age 4 and Ellie, age 2 jumped in with no fear. And because the shame of being shown up by children was too much to bear, he jumped in without complaint.

It was freezing cold, kind of like the Titanic people had to bear when their ship went down, but for a shorter period of time. Great courage shown, though.

Hard to believe it was that cold. Isn't it still 80 degrees there? Or am I remembering wrong. I guess we weren't swimming in our pool in November. Funny that the girls are so brave.
