Ode to mother

Whose visit is more anticipated?
Who do you appreciate more than you can say?
Who else will play with your children for hour upon hour?
Who else will babysit for free?
Who else will help you with dishes, laundry, cleaning, cooking?
Who else bakes up a storm of cookies?
Who else will help you build a raised bed in 100 degree heat?
Who else will take your kids to the Home Dep*t builders workshop by herself?
Who else will read bedtime stories night after night?
Who else gives the best bubble bath to her grand babies?
Who else do we wish lived next door?
Who else do we all love and adore?
Who else do we wish could stay forever?

My Mother.

Thanks for your visit and as Lauren asked in her prayers tonight, "please bless Grandma to come back soon and stay forever!" Amen little girl. Amen.

Yes! I love little kids prayers... that's the cutest ever. Your Mom is awesome! I love living so close to her...she is always taking good care of us and we aren't even her kids.

How sweet Jord! I'm sure your mom feels the same way- i'm glad you had a fun visit and that you included K&B in your activities. Thanks!

I'm so glad you had such a great visit with your mom! I hope you're doing okay now that she's left. I have like a mourning period after my mom leaves and I always tell Christian that I'm we're moving next door to her so he needs to figure out how to make money and do that ;) Wouldn't that be so nice??? But their visits are wonderful :) Lauren's prayer is adorable. I hope you're feeling okay!!

LOL. That's very cute. I'm excited that Milly is 2 now, so that Annie will watch her. She doesn't do grand babies before then.
