Christams 2012

It's only 6 weeks late, but since this is my journal of sorts, I wanted to get some proof of our awesome Christmas holiday on here. We spent two weeks of December between our parents homes (thankfully, they live just a few miles apart) in Orem and enjoyed having most of our siblings in town at the same time to celebrate with.

Santa came (two times actually) and the girls were so brave to sit on his knee and submit their requests. Christmas morning was magical as ever and the girls loved their new toys and carry on size roller suitcases. What a smart guy that Santa is.

Our kids were in cousin heaven and played the days away. We loved being in the snow, sledding, making snow angels, and taking Lauren and Ellie on their first ski trip.

We visited BYU campus, watched the cougars play at home and in SLC, and toured City Creek and Temple Square. We spent time with all of our grandparents and were so grateful to be able to share the season with them. We ate awesome food and were hosted so well by our parents. We had a great trip and look forward to Christmas this year!

My Dad helped the girls and I make the drive home and in all of one day's journey the temperature on our car measured from a low of -20 to a high of 54.

Looks like a great Christmas. How cool you got that close to Cosmo! The temperature difference is crazy. Fun that you all got to go skiing/snowboarding.
