Yesterday was the birthday of the man of the house. Unfortunately, he had some wicked briefs to write with tight deadlines and he was at work from before sunup to well after sun down.
We met him at a park downtown so he could at least open his presents. The girls were so full and bursting with excitement that one little one couldn't hold it in and told him everything he was getting.
Classic moment.
Although it was not the ideal way to celebrate the wonderful man in our lives, I am so grateful for the work ethic, responsibility, and sacrifice that he showed by taking care of what needed to be done, even on his birthday.
I couldn't ask for a better provider and husband and am grateful every day to be married to him.

Fun update. Your girls keep you busy with fun activities that have real value to them. You're looking so darling. I love your long hair and I'm jealous of your summer glow. Hopefully we'll have a chance to see you this summer. I think our girls would have fun.
