Good times

Lest I forget our other visitors last month, here is a shout out to Courtney and Dave and their Easter sleepover! We loved having them to dinner and appreciated their help with the swim suit egg hunt.

Last weekend I had a great trip with just my baby to Utah to hear my MOM speak at BYU's Womens Conference. She did a wonderful job and it was fun to have a weekend trip to see my family.

Why did I never make baby food before?
It is simple, cheap, and awesomely, do I dare say the buzz word, organ*c.  You just bake/steam the food, blend it with water or formula, pour it in ice cube trays, freeze, and then transfer the food cubes into Ziploc bags for future use.

Finally, see those white dots on my feet? I mopped my floor today with our new janitorial mop, bucket, and tile cleaner, and found out too late that the cleaner should not get on your skin or else it will burn. I now have white spots from my feet to mid-calf and am wondering how long they'll last. Maybe people will think I'm a leper. :)

That's crazy about your feet. The worst thing that happened to me while cleaning is that I bleached the bottom of a few of my pants.

I love making Jada's baby food, it is really easy and the ice cube trays are great for portion sizes. For the liquid, I usually add breast milk:):) But, it isn't as hard as I thought it would be and is very easy to get out to feed her!

We went out to Schneppf farms to buy organic peaches and I made those for her, yum!!

Do those spots hurt?

Ouch! That's crazy, I'd say it's time you hire a professional for these types of activities. Wouldn't that be awesome? :) I mostly just puree whatever vegetable or fruits we're eating for our meals for my babies, the fresh food is SO much better than the nasty canned stuff.

We will come and visit you in the leper colony - I understand that there is one on the Hawaiian island of Molokai. What the heck, maybe Jake and the kids can move there with you.
